Viet Sports Club officially joined CDSFA in December 2021 and will participate in its first season in 2022.
In South-Western Sydney, there is a large population of Vietnamese-Australians and it's not surprising to see Vietnamese Australians kicking the "round ball" in a park.
But it wasn’t until October 2020 that the first Vietnamese-Australian soccer club was established, despite a long tradition of 'the world game' in Vietnam dating back to the late 19th century.
Viet Sports Club’s teams train at Kentucky Road Reserve in Riverwood and the club leaders have already acquired a van to provide players with a shuttle service between Bankstown and their training ground.
