An introductory football program focusing on fun, football and friendship that offers a more social and accessible version of football modified for women over 16.
Kick-On for Women is a low-impact football-based program providing physical and mental health benefits, social contentedness, alongside promotion of the benefits of engaging in team sport.
The program provides 45-minute sessions that offer a more social and accessible version of football specifically modified for women over the age of 16. Participants discover and learn the basic competencies of football in a relaxed, non-competitive setting.

The Girls Love Football Program is a skill based introductory football program that is delivered over a 6 week period. The weekly sessions are designed to provide flexibility to the currently offered ‘traditional’ football opportunities for youth girls.
Term Program fundamentals
- 45 minutes weekly sessions
- Introductory program that includes the introduction of the 4 core skills, football rules, fun and small sided games
- Available to girls aged 12 – 17 years (in two age groups, U12-U14 and U15-U17)
- Easy registration set up on PlayFootball
- Session plans provided
- Groups of 12 to 30 participants

Female Football Working Group:
Football Canterbury is dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment for all participants and community members. We are looking for passionate individuals to join our Female Football Working Group and help shape the future of our Association's initiatives and programs to enrich Female Football within the community.
The working group will consist of a diverse range of individuals with strong knowledge, passion and understanding in the Female Football space.
