Applications are now OPEN for players to express their interest in participating in the Season 2025 Football Canterbury Representative League.
Inspired by the old “Canterbury Reps” program which proved both popular and successful in the past, the league is to provide further opportunities for talented players within Football Canterbury to develop, train, and compete with and against the best players in the association and against other regions. Any players interested in trialling, please fill out the EOI form by clicking on the link below.
CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES: Wednesday 23rd April, 2025.
After a review by the FC Board, the 2025 FC Rep League will be revert back to Winter. Trials will start in the week starting April 28 with details forwarded to those who sign up closer to the date. These trials will be held over a 2-3 week period.
There will be four regions who will have four age groups each, meaning a total of 192 players will be exposed to additional high-level training and matches. Importantly, we will try and ensure no clashes will occur with club commitments, with Rep League to be held on Monday nights.
Training and games to start at the end of May and run through till August. The format and cost is still being finalised and will be forwarded to EOI respondents in April.

The FC Rep League also provides an opportunity for coaches to further their skills at a higher level. We have 16 teams and would prefer to have 16 coaches. Working with Youth teams would be an advantage and coaches will have to be endorsed by their club, prior to being appointed.
Please note: Coaches cannot coach in the age group they are registered in during the 2025 season and preferably will not be within their registrated clubs region. All training and games will be at designated venues. Coaches will also have to make themselves available to assist in the trials.
If you are a coach that is registered with Football Canterbury in the 2025 season and would like to get involved with a Rep League team please click on the link below.
Coach Expression of Interest must be received by COB Monday 14th April, 2025.
