To celebrate the start of the 2021 winter season - we are hosting a small sided gala day for girls this school holidays
DATE: Wednesday 14th April 2021
LOCATION: Pratten Park - 44 Arthur Street, Ashfield 2131
TIME: 9.00am - 3.00pm
AGES: 7 - 14 years girls
COST: $30
How does it work?
Participants will be split up into age groups for the day. Players register as an individual and will be placed in teams. Players will have the opportunity to play with their friends.
7 - 9 years: 5 v 5
10 - 12 years: 5 v 5
13 - 14 years: 7 v 7
What to expect
After participants are split up into teams within their age group, the group will be split into 2 pools. Pool A will play on the hour and pool B will play on the half hour mark.
The first round of games will commence at 9.30am - once all teams are formed and players have been run through a fun warm up activity
Games will go for 24 minutes (12 minute halves)
There will be plenty of game time throughout the day and participants are encourage to have small breaks in between games or try out one of the skills stations that will be running.
What is the aim of the day?
The aim of the day is not about winning - no scores will be taken
We want all participants to have fun, have plenty of time with the ball and enjoy their football. All players will be encourage to try their best and score goals and our coaches will be there to show them new things throughout the day to help improve their skills.
