It was a trigger happy long weekend with 22 goals fired in across our five premium BBC fixtures.
There were resounding triumphs for Enfield and Inter Lions while it was sweet revenge for Marrickville who got one over Strathfield after falling victim to them back in round one.
All this and more is covered in our long weekend review which is sure to add some entertainment to your Monday.
Enfield Rovers – Balmain DFC 6-0
It was one way traffic at Henley Park as Enfield Rovers completed the double over Balmain with a 6-0 rout on Saturday afternoon.
The scoring began in almost an instant with Joey Ferrone putting the league leaders ahead after just three minutes before an Anthony Foti goal handed them a two goal buffer at the break.
Foti proceeded to record his brace shortly after the restart before Ronaldo Almeida made it four to the good just after the hour mark.

The home side did not take their foot off the pedal as the game wore on with Ferrone helping himself to a second prior to Foti registering a hat-trick in the final minutes of the fixture.
The convincing victory sees Enfield stay top of the table with a three point gap between themselves and LFC Sports.
Up next for them is a visit to Ron Routley to take on the in form Inter Lions who have won three on the bounce.
Meanwhile, Balmain will be back at Birchgrove Oval to host LFC.
Cooks River Titans – Hurlstone Park 1-3
Another weekend and another three points for Hurlstone Park with Cooks River Titans their latest victim this time around.
A convincing performance from the visitors saw them take all six points from their two meetings with the BBC newcomers, however it did not all go as planned.
Titans had the upper hand throughout first half proceedings but had nothing to show for it come half time.
That all changed barely a minute after the break when they pounced on their opponent’s error to go 1-0 up with Nikolas Tsattalios making his way onto the scoresheet.
But in usual Hurlstone Park fashion, they fought back and after just four minutes of being behind, they found themselves level through Sebastian Coello.
Frank Calcagno soon added a second to give his side the advantage for the first time before Aaron Tatarakis’ solo run and top notch finish sealed the win for the 3rd placed outfit.
On the horizon for Hurlstone Park is a home tie against Leichhardt Tigers while Titans will be crossing the Cooks River to do battle with Marrickville.
Marrickville – Strathfield 2-0
Marrickville were able to atone for their first round defeat at Strathfield with a 2-0 triumph at Mackey Park on Saturday afternoon.
An Indigo Castro goal on the hour mark and a Felix Lacey effort in the 88th minute wrapped up an important three points for the Red Devils as they snapped out of a two match losing streak.
The three points sees them close the gap between them and sixth placed Balmain to two points ahead of their meeting with the Titans.
Strathfield will be hoping to turn around what has been a torrid run when they host Abbotsford in the late kick off next Saturday.
Leichhardt Tigers – Inter Lions FC 1-6
A clinical performance from Inter Lions saw them dispatch of Leichhardt Tigers 6-1 at Lambert Park on Saturday afternoon.
The visitors first goal of the contest took only a minute to arrive thanks to Peter Vassilis’ strike.
You would not have been wrong to predict more goals to follow that half, but they did not, with the home side stringing together a positive display to keep the score at 1-0 for the first 45 minutes.
Something must have been in the water at half time as Inter Lions ran riot after the break. Nicholas Paradisis sent them on their way before braces for James Kovas and Reuben Lagos sent the men from Concord into delirium.
Marcelo Turdera’s consolation goal gave the hosts something to cheer but that was about as good as it got for them as they suffered their heaviest defeat of the season.
A difficult away trip to Hurlstone Park awaits Leichhardt in round 11 while Inter will also have their work cut out for them as they entertain Enfield.
LFC Sports – Abbotsford Juniors 2-1
LFC Sports came out on top in their clash against Abbotsford under lights at Parry Park on Saturday night.
Aman Hadid put the hosts ahead on the quarter hour mark which was enough to see them remain in the lead until the 63rd minute when their opponents replied via Antonino Piazza.

The two teams seemed destined to share the points until Abbas Saleh popped up with the deciding goal with 10 minutes left on the clock.
Saleh’s winner saw LFC complete the double over Abbotsford with 2-0 the score line when they first met at Campbell Park.
Both sides will be on the road next weekend with LFC travelling to Birchgrove while Abbotsford head to Strathfield.
