The long-awaited event was emceed by leading football personality, Simon Hill, with several CDSFA members as well as local politicians and mayors in attendance.
CDSFA Chairman, Mr. Armando Gardiman, touched upon the great history of the association in his address and thanked the clubs for their ongoing support ahead of what is a very special year for CDSFA.
Former CDSFA board member and current Football NSW Chairman, Gilbert Lorquet, spoke highly of his former association before ex-NSL star, Peter Katholos, took to the stage for a Q&A with Simon Hill to discuss his illustrious career which began with CDSFA.
The launch ended with a small sided football showcase which saw kids from CDSFA’s clubs given the opportunity to play on the new all weather pitch at Rudd Park.

The Centenary Gala Dinner will be on May 28 at Le Montage, Lilyfield and will be a chance for all members of the football community come together to pay homage to the CDSFA’s rich history.
