If you’re looking to coach a team in 2023, book your spot in a coaching course now.
These courses range from introductory courses to more advanced, ensuring that everyone who attends will be given the opportunity to learn and grow as a coach.
It is a club affiliation requirement that anyone who is coaching a team should be qualified. We recommend team managers also do a course in case they need to step-in at any stage during the season so that they are aware of the coaching process.
To make it as easy as possible to attend, all community courses are held outside of business hours or on weekends. Most clubs offer to reimburse courses costs on completion.

MiniRoos Certificate
We encourage all parents to attend this course as it gives them a great insight to what coaches do and why. The course is also an ideal starting point for anyone interested in become a coach of players aged 6-13. This introductory course lasts just one hour and will give you an overbview on how to coach children in these age groups.

Skill Training Certificate
If you’re coaching players aged 9-13, this this course is for you. It is held over three sessions.

This course is for coaches of players aged 12 years and above. The course is run over three night sessions.

For coaches interested in helping goalkeepers improve and progress.
Refresher courses
Attend a refresher course (held over one night) if your current coaching licence has expired or is soon to expire. This will reaccredit your qualification for three years.
