Football Canterbury is holding its inaugural All Abilities Gala Day on Saturday August 3.
The Gala Day will see All Ability players and their families converge from around the Sydney region on Tempe Reserve, Tempe for a fun morning of activities and games.
It will be a great chance for players to mingle with other players in what Football Canterbury hopes will become an annual event on the All Abilities calendar.
FC Board Member and driving force behind the initiative Ash Campbell said of the event, "We are excited to collaborate with our clubs to host the inaugural All Abilities Football Gala Day at Football Canterbury, a celebration of diversity and inclusivity in our sport. This event is a fantastic opportunity for players of all abilities to come together, learn new skills and showcase their talents.
“We are committed to making football accessible and enjoyable for everyone, and this gala day is a testament to that dedication."
A bbq will conclude the event, where players and families will be able to meet stars of our game.
