A 24 player squad will assemble in Europe as the Olyroos commence preparations for their qualification campaign for the Paris 2024 Olympics.

In that squad will be Noah Botic, who played as a youngster with Canterbury Lions in 2010.

The talented striker went on to play for Football NSW Institute and Western Sydney Wanderers youth teams before linking up with Hoffenheim in Germany.

More recently, Botic has returned to Australia and has been on a hot scoring streak for Western United in the A-League, scoring four goals in his last four games.

On a nation team level, Botic was the leading goal-scorer in the 2018 U17 Asian Cup and the top goal scorer for the Joeys in the 2019 U17 World Cup.

He was named the inaugural Dylan Tombides Medal recipient in 2019, awarded to the best Australian youth international.
