We have two fixtures to report on in the latest round of the Grace Martin Trophy. A midweek encounter took place at Strathfield Park before spectators were treated to a goal fest at Queen Elizabeth Park.
All this and more is covered in our weekly review as we examine all the action from around the grounds.
Strathfield – Hurlstone Park 0-2 (Wednesday, May 12)
Hurlstone Park were ruthless against Strathfield as they posted a 2-0 victory at Strathfield Park last Wednesday night.
Both of Hurlstone Park’s goals arrived from corners one either side of halftime. First off the rank to open the scoring was Jenna Smith on 37 minutes before Tanisha Wallace doubled their lead two minutes after the restart.

A new formation seemed to be the secret to their success as they join Balmain on seven points.
Next up for Mark Higgins’ side is a “home” fixture against Russell Lea at Queen Elizabeth Park meanwhile Strathfield host runaway leaders, Leichhardt Saints.
Russell Lea - ACU Football Club 3-3
A six-goal thriller played out at Queen Elizabeth Park on Sunday with 3-3 the full time score between Russell Lea and ACU Football Club.
Chloe Makko gave the visitors the early advantage before Bridget Harrington restored parity just eight minutes into the clash.
It was déjà vu for the visitors half an hour later as they restored their lead via Gillian Bartlett in the 34th minute before copping another equaliser from Bridget Harrington three minutes later to peg back the scoring.

It was then Russell Lea’s turn to take the lead for the first time in this contest thanks to Hannah Urquhart’s effort on the 65th minute mark.
Their lead lasted for around 20 minutes until Nicole Ossio gate crashed any premature celebrations when she scored the all-important equaliser for ACU with five minutes left on the clock.
ACU return to their campus grounds to face off against Balmain next Sunday while Russell Lea meet Hurlstone Park at Queen Elizabeth Park.
