Registration to sign-up for winter football opens early January each year and we can help you if you’re not sure how to find the right club for your child.
Read on below to find a step-by-step guide on how to find your child’s new team.
There are teams for players of all levels: Division 1 teams for children who are highly experienced or naturally talented, and lower division teams for those new to the sport and players who want a more social experience.
Almost every club in the region has room for more junior players so follow the steps below and find your club!
Step-by-Step instructions
Step 1: Does your child already have a friend playing for a club and wants to join them? If so, go direct to the club through the friend, click here to register and start to attend training.
Step 2: If you have no connection to an existing club, click here to find the closest clubs to your area
Step 3: If you have a preference for which club you want to join, skip ahead to the next step. Otherwise, it’s best to contact the 2-4 closest clubs to your home to see who has a spot available
Step 4: Using the email address from the Find-A-Club website, get in touch with your chosen club/s with the following information:
- Age
- Level wanting to play at (example: high divisions or low divisions)
- Prior playing experience (it’s okay if your child has never played before, clubs have teams for beginners)
- Preferred playing position (it’s okay if you don’t know – you’ll have a full season to find out which position your child enjoys the most)
- Contact details
Step 5: Once you have decided which club to join, click here to register and start to attend training.
