This past Friday the Association lost one of its true gentlemen - Raymond Webb.
Ray was a Life Member of the CDSFA (2009) and of the Marrickville Football Club. He was also the Association's long serving Competition Secretary, and in fact the man responsible for the football season currently being played. Ray had also served the Association in many roles over his decades of involvement as Association President, Secretary, Executive Committee member, Judiciary Chairman & member just to name a few.
The family of Ray Webb has advised that his funeral will take place this Friday, 7 July, at 3pm in the South Chapel of the Woronora Cemetary (121 Linden Street, Sutherland).
In lieu of flowers a donation to the NSW Cancer Council.
The family invites all of Ray's football colleagues and friends to attend the service on Friday.
