Over the past weekend the Association lost one of its truly loved and treasured individuals - Val Laws.
Val was a Life Member of the Canterbury Junior Football Club, a recipient of a State Award from Football NSW (2008) and wife to CDSFA legend and Life Member Vince Laws. Their enduring commitment to volunteering was such the Association's top honour at its Cec Barlow Awards evening is named the "Vince & Val Laws Medal".
Val will be honoured and remembered at a funeral service on Friday 30 June at 10:30am (details below).
